When recording audio, PCM sampling consumes X bytes per sample, where X is:
1, for 8 bit Mono
2, for 8 bit Stereo
2, for 16 bit Mono
4 for 16 bit Stereo
Therefore, setting your audio recording rate to 22 Khz (22,000 samples per second), 8 bit mono would consume approximately 22K per second of hard disk space.
Alive e-Show always encodes in mono so it is unnecessary to record your audio in stereo. When you publish your e-show, you can delete any media files that you recorded while creating it.
